About Nana's Manners

Nana's Manners is a UK-based company known for creating award-winning children's products that support learning and development in fun and innovative ways. From ergonomic cutlery to educational games, our products are designed to make everyday activities easier and more enjoyable for children and parents. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly motivated Email Marketing Executive to join our team, focusing on optimizing and enhancing our existing email marketing practices to increase engagement, conversions, and customer retention.

Role Overview

As the Email Marketing Executive at Nana's Manners, you will be tasked with refining and improving our current email marketing processes. Using Omnisend as our email service provider (ESP), you will focus on optimizing performance, improving segmentation, and enhancing automation workflows. This role requires an experienced email marketer who is both creative and data-driven, with a strong understanding of e-commerce marketing and email optimization strategies.

Your goal will be to elevate our email marketing to the next level—by identifying areas for improvement, running experiments, and implementing best practices that lead to better performance and increased ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize Existing Email Campaigns:

    • Review and enhance our existing email marketing campaigns and workflows, ensuring that they are delivering maximum value.
    • Conduct audits of our current email processes, identifying areas where improvements in design, content, or strategy can be made.
    • Use data from previous campaigns to refine segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies.
  • Performance Improvement:

    • Continuously monitor email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and apply learnings to improve future campaigns.
    • Implement and run A/B tests on various elements such as subject lines, content, send times, and CTAs to boost engagement and conversion rates.
    • Analyze customer behavior data and feedback to further refine targeting, segmentation, and content relevance.
  • Enhance Automated Workflows:

    • Review existing automated workflows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, post-purchase emails) and suggest ways to enhance their performance.
    • Develop new workflows that align with customer journeys and increase engagement at key touchpoints, improving retention and repeat purchase rates.
    • Ensure all automated flows are optimized for maximum deliverability and customer engagement.
  • Segmentation & Personalization:

    • Improve our audience segmentation and ensure more personalized, targeted messaging by leveraging customer data and behavior insights.
    • Work with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies for better list management, growth, and engagement.
  • Content & Creative Improvements:

    • Collaborate with the design team to improve email templates for better engagement, ensuring emails are mobile-responsive and visually appealing.
    • Refine and enhance email copy to be more compelling and aligned with our brand’s voice, while driving stronger call-to-action responses.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:

    • Ensure that all email marketing campaigns adhere to GDPR and email marketing regulations, keeping our practices ethical and compliant.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in email marketing and integrate them into our strategies to stay competitive.

Requirements

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience in email marketing, ideally within e-commerce or retail sectors.
    • Hands-on experience with Omnisend or similar platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp) and a strong understanding of how to optimize ESP capabilities.
    • A track record of successfully improving email campaign performance through A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement improvements based on insights.
    • Excellent copywriting skills with an understanding of how to craft engaging and persuasive email content.
    • Basic understanding of HTML and email design principles for creating responsive and effective email templates.
    • Knowledge of best practices for email deliverability, segmentation, and compliance with email marketing regulations.
  • Personal Qualities:

    • Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
    • Enthusiastic about optimizing processes and creating a seamless experience for customers.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
  • Opportunity to work in a growing, dynamic company with a focus on children’s development and education.
  • Flexibility to work remotely with occasional travel to the UK office.
  • Professional development opportunities and potential for career growth.
